Olive Branch offers a range of DIRECT support services that benefits individuals with various challenges in their day to day living.
Beneficiaries of the NJ TBI Fund can request our services in the following areas |

Household Management
Defined as support and assistance for a brain-injured person in organizing the daily activities of managing a household, including shopping, meal preparation, housekeeping, bill paying, and assistance with mail. This service may also include non-routine housekeeping required by the beneficiary to maintain a safe sanitary environment. Financial Organization
Defined as assistance with bill paying, banking, and long-term financial planning when a knowledgeable family member or friend is not available. Examples: * bill pay system generation *comprehend and organize statements * apply techniques to help timely payments * budget creation and maintenance Cognitive Rehabilitation Time-limited intervention to improve memory, orientation, reasoning, and appropriate verbal and behavioral responses.
Olive Branch uses the Occupational Therapy foundations for Cognitive Rehabilitation which focus on therapeutic interventions that focus on cognitive functioning, and compensatory strategies to manage the performance of an activity. Examples: providing instruction and cognitive strategies to facilitate participation in IADL's or Design and using computerized cognitive training programs to improve attention. |
Life Skills Training
Defined as teaching specific instrumental activities of daily living to increase independence and function.
